Vinay is the Head of Global Business Development at ClearBridge Investments. He oversees and aligns ClearBridge’s client portfolio managers, institutional sales, platform sales, and consultant relations teams. He joined the firm in 1993 and has 33 years of industry experience.
Vinay joined the firm as a Senior Actuarial Assistant and worked in the Corporate Development and Strategic Planning departments at both a corporate and asset management level until 2003. He worked in various roles at ClearBridge, including separate account business management, product development, gatekeeper relations with broker/dealer clients and Head of Financial Intermediaries until 2017. In the fourth quarter of 2017, he was named Head of Global Business Development. Prior to joining the firm, he was a Property and Casualty Actuary at Aetna Insurance.
Vinay received an M.B.A. from The Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania and a B.S. in actuarial science from Pennsylvania State University.
