Hersh is the Chief Investment Officer Emeritus and a Portfolio Manager on numerous private portfolios and retirement funds at ClearBridge Investments. He joined the firm in 1969 and has 57 years of investment industry experience.

Hersh began his career at the firm as a Portfolio Manager and was appointed Chief Investment Officer in 2004.

Hersh received a Ph.D. in psychology from Tufts University and a B.A. from Western Reserve University (now Case Western Reserve University).
