Richard is a Portfolio Manager on the UK Mid Cap, UK Smaller Companies and UK Managers' Focus strategies, and the Co-Head of UK Equities, at ClearBridge Investments. He joined the firm in 2000 and has 26 years of investment industry experience.

Richard began his tenure with the UK Equity Team in 2000 as a Fund Manager at Rensburg Fund Management which merged into Franklin Templeton, then the team transitioned to Martin Currie in 2022 and then became part of ClearBridge in 2025.

Richard holds a B.Sc. in business and management studies from the University of Bradford School of Management. He holds an Investment Management Certificate and is a Chartered MCSI.
